São Paulo is one of the world’s great football cities, but it’s also a great place to stock up on vintage football shirts. With a wide selection at great prices, make sure you leave extra room in your suitcase, as you’ll surely be leaving with several extra shirts. These stores all deal with authentic shirts—no fakes—and have a wide range of teams from around Brazil, Europe, South America, national teams, and the rest of the world.

There are often football shirt fairs happening around the city, but here is a guide to some of the best stores you can visit any day of the week.
If you only have time to visit one store, make it Champions Shirts. Located in Vila Romana, this store has an incredible selection with the best prices in the city. They have no online business, meaning that their store has a wider selection than many others who sell their hottest items online. This is a must-visit for any football fan.
Located just a couple of blocks off Avenida Paulista, Atrox is like a museum of football shirts, with a collection featuring some of the rarest shirts around. The owner, Vini, is super friendly and speaks English, so be sure to chat him up if he is around. Ask him to take you downstairs, where they have an ultra-rare collection of authentic shirts from the 70s and 80s, some even older. The prices at Atrox are definitely on the higher side, but it makes sense given the rarity of the products. Even if you don’t buy anything, this store is worth the trip.
This store, located on the upscale shopping street Rua Augusta, has a great selection of shirts for good prices, particularly from South America and Europe. They also have a nice collection of shirts from the Brazil national team. Be sure to check out the upstairs area, as well.
This store mostly operates online, but they have a showroom inside of an office/apartment building a couple of blocks from Allianz Parque, home of Palmeiras. They are usually open for visits just a couple of days a week, so reach out with a direct message on their Instagram to check their hours for the week. The owner is very friendly and they have a great selection with a range of prices.
Another great spot, located inside of a shopping mall in Lapa. The shirts are a bit expensive, but they have a good selection, especially of more modern ones.
This store is different from the others in that they sell fully licensed reproductions of retro shirts for major clubs from Brazil and a handful of European and national teams as well. Most of their shirts are made of cotton with a more t-shirt style, making them ideal for everyday wear. They also have a nice collection of jackets and other apparel.
