Brazil’s futuristic capital is a city unlike any other, built from scratch on a 3,300-foot (1,000m) plateau over the course of just three and a half years. Though Brasília can be a bit difficult to wrap your head around, it’s well worth a visit for its architectural beauty and its importance as the nation’s capital.
